Let God guide your steps. He delights in every detail of your life. Psalm 37:23

As I was perusing Pinterest the other day this verse came up and it just really stood out to me. Of course there is a ton of inspiration and good, relatable quotes I find on Pinterest all the time, but I just felt like sharing a little bit about the importance of this one to me. A blog essentially details someones thoughts, inspiration, wisdom (or expertise in something they're passionate about), and fun things worth sharing with others in a variety of categories like travel, food, places to go, what to wear, and more. It can be a platform for sharing all of that and more and I really love it but there's nothing cooler than sharing God's love for all of us and the importance of prioritizing Him in our lives. I love a lot of things about my life and strive to be joyful and be a good friend, daughter, sister, co-worker and overall person but we all fall short at times and maybe even lose our way. But if we remember to let God guide our steps, we follow the plan He has for us and it's easier to live a life filled with love, kindness, patience, humility, and more.

The second part to that verse makes me especially happy. He DELIGHTS in every detail of your life. How cool is that? To be delighted in. To have someone care SO much about everything you think and are inspired by and understands everything about you. That's something so rare in this world we live in now. I would like to think that the people I love most in this world probably do care about the things in my life for the most part, but to be honest they probably don't care about "every detail." Even though sometimes I probably do excessively talk about certain things a little too much .... like my job...but it's just something in my life I'm truly passionate about. I think we all desire to be understood and cared for and ultimately delighted in and it's so amazing that Jesus does that for us every day and He loves our whole heart. At the same time, we are all called to live like Jesus did and be the light for others so I want to do my best to be delighted by others and focus on what they say and think and strive to care about them the way we are by God. Relationships, work, and overall life can be a bit of a challenge and none of them are always perfect, but don't forget you and I both have a pretty perfect guide for this life :) How lucky are we?!
